The Green Expo 2025, Mexico’s premier international energy and environmental exhibition, will take place from September 2 to 4 at the Centro Citibanamex in Mexico City. As the largest and most influential event of its kind in Latin America, the exhibition is organized by Informa Markets Mexico, with Great Wall International Exhibition Co., Ltd. as its official Chinese agent. Covering an expected area of 20,000 square meters, the event will bring together leading companies and professionals in clean energy and sustainable development from around the world.
Mexico, located in the southern part of North America, boasts abundant solar resources with an average annual solar irradiance of 5 kWh/m², making it a region with enormous potential for photovoltaic development. As the second-largest economy in Latin America, Mexico’s government is strongly promoting renewable energy transition amid rapidly growing electricity demand. Its strategic position as a trade hub also makes it a gateway to North and Latin American renewable energy markets.
With the official support of Mexico’s Ministry of Environment and Energy and CONIECO (National College of Ecological Engineers of Mexico), THE GREEN EXPO has successfully been held for 30 editions. The event is structured around four main themes: green clean energy (PowerMex), environmental protection (EnviroPro), water treatment (WaterMex), and green cities (Green City). It comprehensively showcases the latest products and system solutions in solar energy, wind power, energy storage, hydrogen, environmental technologies, water treatment equipment, and green building.
The 2024 edition attracted nearly 20,000 professional visitors from over 30 countries, alongside 300 exhibitors including internationally renowned companies such as TW Solar, RISEN, EGING, and SOLAREVER. National group pavilions from the United States, Germany, Italy, and Canada were also featured, with an exhibition area spanning 15,000 square meters.
As a leading provider of intelligent off-grid solutions, Solarway will exhibit at Booth 2615A, highlighting its new generation of high-protection off-grid systems. These include high-efficiency bifacial PERC modules, multi-mode hybrid inverters, modular high-voltage lithium batteries, and an AI-powered smart energy management platform. The systems are designed for a wide range of applications in industrial, commercial, agricultural, remote community, and tourism facilities, supporting energy efficiency and cost optimization for users across Mexico and Latin America.
Solarway’s Director of Latin American Operations stated: “We recognize Mexico’s pivotal role in Latin America’s energy transition, especially with the rapid growth in demand for distributed solar-storage and off-grid systems. Our participation aims to strengthen partnerships with local players and promote the large-scale application of renewable energy technologies.”
THE GREEN EXPO 2025 will continue to serve as a premier platform for global businesses to engage in high-level dialogue, technological exchange, and trade cooperation, fostering deeper integration of green energy innovation and regional sustainable development.
